The event is set at Tickfaw State Park in Springfield, LA on July 25, 2026. Distances offered:

- 50K
Registration opens Dec 1, 2025. The race has a 14-hour cutoff for both distances.
Course and aid
The River Trail is a 5-mile trail loop that runs along the river. Participants should be aware that poisonous snakes and alligators may be on or near the trail.
There will be two aid stations: an unmanned aid station at the halfway point offering water, electrolytes, snacks, and ice; and a main aid station at the start/finish with ice, electrolytes, water, soda, snacks, and fully cooked food.
Facilities and awards
Tickfaw State Park features boardwalks through four ecosystems, a Nature Center with an 800-gallon aquarium, and displays about local animals and culture. Lodging at the park includes 30 improved campsites, 20 unimproved campsites, and cabins/group camp units; cabins provide basic cookware and linens, while visitors must bring food and personal supplies. Group camp visitors should bring dishes, silverware, towels, and linens.
Finisher medals will be awarded. The top three male and female finishers on each distance will receive a custom award. Race day food at the start/finish includes a variety of snacks and some vegan options. Swag for 2026 is listed as coming soon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
