Diablito 50/50 takes place at Tickfaw State Park in Springfield, LA. Distances offered:

Registration opens Mon. Dec 1, 2025. The race uses a trail loop system and has a 14 hour cutoff for both distances. Swag for 2026 is listed as coming soon.
Course, aid and logistics
The main trail is the River Trail, a 5 mile loop that runs along the river. The organizer notes the presence of wildlife, including poisonous snakes and alligators, on or near the trail. Aid provisions include an unmanned halfway point offering water, electrolytes, snacks, and ice, and a main aid station at the start/finish with ice, electrolyte water, soda, snacks, and fully cooked food.
Tickfaw State Park lodging options are listed: 30 improved campsites, 20 unimproved campsites, and cabins or group camp units. Cabins and group camp units provide basic cookware, utensils, dinnerware, silverware, towels, and linens; visitors must bring food and personal supplies. Group camp visitors must bring their own dishes, silverware, towels, and linens.
Awards include a finisher medal and custom awards for the top three male and female finishers in each distance. Race day food at start/finish includes bacon, PB&J, chips, cookies, quesadillas, grilled cheese, pickles, candy, crackers, potatoes, gummies, soda, water, ice, and electrolytes.
