Hammond Firefighters 911 Memorial Run
The Hammond Firefighters 911 Memorial Run is scheduled for 19 September 2026 in Hammond, Louisiana. The event starts and finishes at Cate Square Park, located at 200 West Charles Street in Downtown Hammond. The course is described as flat and runs from Cate Square Park to Southeastern Louisiana University, around the university campus, and back to the park.

Registration opens 15 May 2026 and closes 1 July 2026. Entry fees listed are $35.00 for the 5K and $30.00 for the 1 Mile. Entry includes a T shirt; the T shirt order cutoff date is 24 August 2026. Packet pick up is available Thursday 17 September and Friday 18 September at Perfectly Fit with specified hours. Race day packet pick up windows are provided for the 1 Mile and the 5K.
Proceeds remain in the community and help fund local nonprofit programs supported by the local firefighters. This year the event is timed. All finishers receive medals. 5K awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top two in each listed age group for male and female.
