Hammond Firefighters 911 Memorial Run
The Hammond Firefighters 911 Memorial Run takes place in Hammond, Louisiana on September 19, 2026. The event starts and finishes at Cate Square Park in downtown Hammond and offers two distances:

The advertised course is flat and runs from Cate Square Park to Southeastern Louisiana University, around the university campus, and back to Cate Square Park. Registration for the listed events opens on May 15, 2026 and closes on August 1, 2026. The registration fees are $30.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for the 1 mile.
Pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled for Thursday, September 18 at Perfectly Fit from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Entry fees do not include a T-shirt; T-shirts are offered as an optional purchase.
This year the event is a timed race. All finishers receive finisher medals. Award categories for the 5K include top three overall male and female finishers and the top two in each age group for male and female in these groups: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
