Event Overview
The Hamilton Eye Institute Race for Sight is the ninth annual Brad Baker Honorary 5K run. It is scheduled for March 7, 2026. The event benefits the Hamilton Eye Institute Lions Club, a non-profit organization with a mission to provide eye care for those less fortunate in the Mid-South region and internationally.
Course and Location
The race takes place at the Jones Pond Pavilion in Shelby Farms Park, Memphis. The course uses the fully paved Chickasaw trail, which will be marked with cones. Participants are asked to park at the Visitor Center Parking Lot. Awards, including plaques and medals for the fastest overall and age group runners, are distributed at the pavilion. Walking, dogs, and strollers are permitted on the course.

- 5K (In-person): Registration is $23 and includes an official race t-shirt and tote bag. A student rate of $18 is offered.
- Virtual Participant: Registration is $23 and includes a t-shirt that will be mailed. Instructions for participation via the Asics Runkeeper app are provided by email.
- Spirit Runner: This $23 option is for those who wish to support the cause without running, and includes a race t-shirt.
