Hallow’s Eve
Hallow’s Eve is a trail running event held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, on the North Shore near Inter River Park in North Vancouver. The event includes races over the following distances:
- 10K
- Half marathon
- Marathon
All races start and finish at Inter River Park near the entrance to the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve. Routes run on a mix of groomed and technical trails and include boardwalks through marsh, multiple sets of stairs, gravel service roads by the river, suspension bridge connector trails, and sections through forested singletrack. The courses pass through Lynn Valley, Lynn Headwaters Park and the LSCR gazebo area; some sections cross or run alongside roadways where marshals and traffic awareness are required. Parts of the courses are in a dog off leash area.
Aid station arrangements differ by distance: the marathon passes aid stations five times, the half marathon three times, and the 10K passes one aid station. Aid stations provide water, electrolyte drink, gels, chips, blocks or chews, cookies and other treats; First Aid and hygiene supplies are available at every aid station. The event is cup free so racers must bring their own container for fluids. There is no mandatory gear list, but organizers recommend carrying hydration, fuel, extra clothing and a collapsible cup; poles are permitted but not to be used in the start area.
Package pickup is available the day before at the Running Room in North Vancouver. Parking is available at Inter River Park and at Capilano University with limited roadside parking nearby. Awards are given to the top three by gender in each event and every finisher receives a medal. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
