Halloween Run & Walk
The Halloween Run & Walk is a community sporting event held annually on October 31. Organized by Run Regina, the event takes place at the Saskatchewan Science Centre on Powerhouse Drive in Regina. Participants can engage in the following distances:
- 3 km run or walk
- 5 km run or walk
The event offers both in-person and virtual participation options. Those registered for the in-person event also receive access to virtual races. The virtual component allows participants to complete their chosen distance from any location between October 31 and November 28, 2026, with the ability to upload results to an online leaderboard.
In-person participants benefit from chip timing and custom race bibs. All finishers receive a locally designed Halloween medal by Sticks & Doodles and a digital finisher certificate. Post-race Halloween treats are provided at the finish line.
Race package pickup is scheduled at the Saskatchewan Science Centre on the Friday afternoon before the race and on Saturday morning. The event supports the Saskatchewan Science Centre Discovery Fund. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; in the event of hazardous weather, in-person registrations are transferred to the virtual category.
