Halloween Hustle 10K - Charlottesville, VA
The YMCA Gatorade Halloween Hustle is a community event in Charlottesville held on October 31, 2026. The event offers a timed 10 km run and a 2 Mile Trick-or-Treat Family Walk. Proceeds support YMCA financial assistance to help ensure access to Y membership and programs.
Event features include a post-race celebration at the Charlottesville High School Track with a bounce house, an inflatable obstacle course, a costume contest, face painting, and awards. The race route includes candy and volunteer stops along the way. The starting line is located at Brooks Family YMCA and the finish is at the Charlottesville High School Track. Participants are encouraged to park near the finish and walk to the start.
Registration opens May 1, 2026. Registration fees listed for general planning include an October rate and a higher race day rate for the 10 km, and a fee for adult walkers while children ages 0 to 12 walk free. Race t-shirt availability is not guaranteed after October 10. Packet pick-up is available in the Brooks Family YMCA lobby on the evening before the event and on race morning.
