Halloween Half Run in Red Deer
The Halloween Half Run offers three distances on the river trails near Bower Ponds in Red Deer, Alberta, on October 31, 2026. Runners follow an out-and-back route along the river's north paths due to nearby construction, and the course is well marked.

The event is presented by Goodlife Fitness, which will have staff at aid stations. Registration for 2026 is open and previous editions have sold out. Entry includes a race bib with chip timing and a 2026 commemorative finisher medal. Optional long sleeve shirts are available for an additional fee.
On-course aid stations provide water cups and gels. Finish line provisions include bakery snacks from Cinnzeo, pasta salad, fruit, other snacks, water and cold beer. Portable toilets will be stocked with hand sanitizer. Participants are asked to remove and return timing chips after the race; chips left with participants carry a replacement cost.
Entry fees are listed by distance and no refunds, deferrals, or transfers are available. Free parking is provided at Bower Ponds. Volunteers are offered a transferable race credit in exchange for their service. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
