Halloween Half Run
The Halloween Half Run is a chip timed running event held on October 31, 2026 at Bower Ponds Outdoor Stage, 4707 Fountain Dr, Red Deer, Alberta. The event offers multiple distance options for participants.

Due to construction the field starts at Bower Ponds and follows an out and back route along the river north paths. The course is well marked and different distances are indicated by colored flags. Aid stations provide water cups and gels on tables. Portable toilets will be available and stocked with hand sanitizer.
Race entry includes a race bib, chip timing with official results, and a commemorative finisher medal. Finish line provisions include bakery items from Cinnzeo, water and beer. An optional long sleeve shirt is offered for a separate fee. Entry fees are listed per distance and prices increase on April 13. There are no refunds deferrals or transfers. Free parking is available at Bower Ponds. Volunteers receive a transferable race credit. Participants are asked to return timing chips since kept chips incur a fee.
