About the race
Halloween Half Run takes place on October 31, 2026 at the Bower Ponds Outdoor Stage in Red Deer, Alberta. The event uses the river trails and, due to construction, follows an out and back route along the north paths.

- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21 km
The event is chip timed and includes a commemorative finisher medal and a race bib with chip timing and results. The course is well marked and supported by on-course aid stations with water and gels. Finish area provisions include water, cold beer and bakery snacks from Cinnzeo, as well as pasta salad and fruit. An optional long sleeve race shirt is available for $29.
Entry fee information is published and prices increase on September 21. Current published fees are:

- 10 km $65
- Half Marathon 21 km $79
No refunds, deferrals or transfers are available. Free parking is provided at Bower Ponds. Volunteers receive a transferrable race credit.
