The Halloween Half Marathon is set for Saturday 25 October 2025 in Glensheshkin Woods, 1 km east of Kilworth Village, County Cork. The course distance is 21.00 km with a listed climb of 475 m. The event difficulty is rated 6 (2,2,2) - Moderate Terrain, 200 m - 500 m ascent, 6 km - 10 km. The route is fully marked and GPS use is allowed. The race forms part of the Munster Half-Marathon League.
Logistics and safety
Entry closes Friday 24 October 2025; the entry fee is €30. The event has a limit of 150 entries and 69 places were sold at the time of listing. Mandatory kit is Level B - Standard and includes a waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, charged mobile phone with an emergency number stored, and a foil blanket or bivvy bag or equivalent. The kit to be carried may be finalised on the day and will be advised at registration. Participants should have a means to carry the kit. Random kit checks may be carried out and failure to have required items may lead to denial of entry or disqualification.
