About the race
The hall-EAU-ween 5K is a Halloween-themed community run held in Eau Claire on Friday, October 30, 2026. The course starts on the gravel road at Forest Street Gardens and finishes in Phoenix Park in downtown Eau Claire. Every participant will receive a hall-EAU-ween themed blanket.
Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for crowd-favorite costumes in multiple categories. There are planned spooky areas along the course. Strollers are allowed; if a child in a stroller should receive race swag or a medal they must be registered individually, otherwise registration for that child is not required. Dogs are not allowed at this event.
Parking options include street parking and the RCU Ramp at 200 Riverfront Terrace. Packet pickup, bib perks, a course map, and race photos are available for participants. Race day registration is permitted if space allows.
Registration uses tiered pricing: Early Bird through July 12, Tier 2 from July 13 to August 31, Tier 3 from September 1 to October 11, and Final Pricing from October 12 through race day.
