Race Overview
The US Road Running event in Richmond, Kentucky, takes place at White Hall State Historic Site. This organized race series offers multiple distances on an out-and-back course format. All participants are required to register through the online system, as there is no registration available on the day of the event at the race site. Packet pickup occurs shortly before the start.
Course Information
The event utilizes two primary course layouts depending on the chosen distance:
- 5K: Participants complete an out-and-back loop twice.
- 10K: Participants complete an out-and-back loop four times.
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon): Participants complete an out-and-back loop six times.
There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. The 5K and 10K routes are based on a 1.56 mile out-and-back circuit, while the Half Marathon utilizes a 2.18 mile out-and-back circuit.
Participation and Awards
All finishers receive a themed medal for completing their respective distances. In addition to the race itself, there is an optional costume contest. Participants can have their photo taken at the start of the event, and winners are determined after the race conclusion.
