Tracks for Packs 5K Run/Walk
Tracks for Packs 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for September 19, 2026 at Richmond Centre in Richmond, Kentucky. The event is hosted by Eastside Community Church and is the 15th year the church has organized the race as a fundraiser.
The event benefits the Madison County Backpack Program, which sends home food items for children to use over the weekend. Examples of items sent include ravioli, soups, fruit snacks, chips, cereal, popcorn, and other snacks.
Registration opens April 15 and closes September 19. The registration fee is $25. Registrants can select a team; the Madison County school with the most participants receives a $500 prize. If a registrant’s Madison County school is not listed, a team can be created so that the registration counts for that school. Registrations submitted prior to August 31 include a free t shirt.
The 2026 presenting sponsor is Chenault Vineyards. The race will be chip timed and awards are given immediately following the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
