US Road Running - Richmond
The US Road Running event in Richmond, Kentucky, consists of three road races held at White Hall State Historic Site. Participants can choose between different distances including a 5K, a 10K, and a Half Marathon. All participants are required to register through RunSignup before arriving at the location, as there is no registration available at the event site.
The courses are designed as out-and-back routes on paved surfaces. The 5K and 10K follow a 0.78-mile out-and-back path, totaling 1.56 miles per loop. Runners in the 5K complete this loop two times, while those in the 10K complete it four times. The Half Marathon utilizes a different 1.09-mile out-and-back route, totaling 2.18 miles per loop. Half Marathon participants complete their specific loop six times.
There is a three-hour and 30-minute time limit for all courses. Participant amenities include finisher medals for those who complete their race. Additionally, the event features a best costume competition, and points are awarded as part of the US Road Running series.
