Medal Madness 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Marathon : Concord, NC
The event takes place at Vietnam Veterans Park, 760 Orphanage Rd, Concord, NC, and is based at the Dogwood Shelter. The schedule includes the following race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
All entrants must register online on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. A six hour course time limit applies.
Course details are provided as out-and-back loops. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back measured as 3.11 miles; the 5K completes that out-and-back once and the 10K twice. The half marathon and marathon use an out-and-back measured as 3.28 miles; the half marathon completes that out-and-back four times and the marathon eight times. The course is mainly paved with a stretch of gravel and dirt and is described as shaded. On arrival, restrooms are located in the right corner of the parking lot.
