Viking 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at Hudson, FL (08)
The event is held at Veterans Memorial Park in Hudson, Florida, at 14333 Hicks Rd. It offers three measured running events that share course features and race services. Packet pickup is located at the shelter behind the Aquatic Center near the park splash pad; pickup begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.
The race uses out-and-back loop courses of short length that are repeated to reach each event distance. Course details are:
- 5K uses a 0.78 mile loop, completed two times
- 10K uses the same 0.78 mile loop, completed four times
- Half Marathon uses a 1.09 mile loop, completed six times
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. Event services include finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume recognition, series points, and awards.
