Event Details
The Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon takes place in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The race is held at Stith-Talbert Park, with the start at 799 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Distances
The event offers three distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
All races start at the same time. Registration must be completed online through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Bib pickup opens 30 minutes before the start time and closes 10 minutes before.
Course Information
Both the 5K and 10K share a common out-and-back loop that is 1.56 miles long. The 5K is completed by running this loop two times. The 10K requires four loops.
The Half Marathon has its own out-and-back loop, measuring 2.18 miles. Runners complete this loop six times to finish the half marathon distance. The overall time limit for the course is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
