Race Overview
The US Road Running event in Venice, Florida, takes place at Shamrock Park. This organized run offers multiple distances on a course composed of a mix of concrete and asphalt surfaces. The starting point is located on the path behind the Nature Center. Participants can access bathroom facilities within the Nature Center building.
Distances and Course Layout
The event features three distinct distances for participants to choose from:
- 5K: A single out-and-back loop totaling 3.11 miles.
- 10K: Two completions of the out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: Four completions of a 3.28-mile out-and-back loop.
The course for all distances follows an out-and-back format. Runners have a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete their selected distance.
Participation and Awards
Registration is handled exclusively online through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the event. Packet pickup is available at the venue shortly before the start. Every participant who completes their race receives a finisher medal. While not mandatory, participants have the option to compete in a best costume category.
