North Port Firecracker 5K

Registration windows and fees vary by event. Day-of registration is listed at $50.00. Kids 16 and under have a reduced day-of rate starting at $20.00 and there are no club discounts. The 5K is chip timed with Durti Runners Race Timing. The one mile walk is listed as a fun walk and not chip timed. The virtual 5K entry allows participants to enter their own results.
Event amenities and rules include a finisher medal for all, post-race food for bib holders (breakfast snack, bananas, icy pops, snack bars), and awards for 1st through 3rd in five year age groups and several overall categories including Masters and Veterans. The course uses road and some sidewalks. Strollers are allowed in the run portion but must start in the back. Registrations are donations and no refunds are offered.
