About the race
Medal Madness at Longview, TX is a single-day running event held at the park on the corner of E. Fairmont St and Princeton Ave (1505 Princeton Ave, Longview, TX 75604). The event offers three distances with set entry fees and online registration only.
The courses are out-and-back loops and are run multiple times to reach each race distance. For the 5K and 10K the out-and-back segment is 1.56 miles; the 5K covers that segment twice and the 10K covers it four times. The half marathon uses an out-and-back segment of 2.16 miles repeated six times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Registration details are provided through RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Parking at the park is limited. The organizer lists packet pickup in the race information, and all runners must be registered on RunSignup. Entry fees for each distance are specified by the organizer.
