US Road Running Event in Biglerville
The US Road Running series hosts a race event in Biglerville, Pennsylvania, featuring three distinct distances for participants to choose from:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The event takes place at Oakside Community Park, with the starting area located near Pavilion 4. All participants must complete their registration online through RunSignup before the race begins, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is conducted at the park starting 30 minutes prior to the race.
The 5K and 10K courses utilize a 1.56-mile out and back loop. Participants in the 5K complete this loop twice, while those in the 10K complete it four times. The Half Marathon follows a different out and back course measuring 2.18 miles, which runners complete six times to reach the total distance of 13.1 miles.
A total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all distances. Every finisher receives a themed medal upon completing their race. The event also includes a costume contest, and participants are encouraged to wear outfits to compete for the Best Costume award.
