Event
The Hauser Hill Wine Run is a chip-timed 5k held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Hauser Hill Event Center in Biglerville, Pennsylvania (410 Cashtown Rd, Biglerville, PA 17307). The event is open to a wide age range and lists eligibility from ages 1 to 99. Timing and results are handled by J3 Timing and results are posted online.
Course and logistics
The course starts and finishes at the Hauser Hill Event Center, which sits on 172 acres atop a ridge overlooking orchards, forests and farmland. The route is described as a cross country style course with uneven footing and inclines; it is not a flat, fast 5k course. Packet pickup is race day only and opens one hour before the event. A virtual participation option is available; registrants can either pick up a packet and run on their own or request packet shipment for a virtual race (shipping and handling fees may apply).
Registration, awards and on-course rules
Standard registration includes a T-shirt (ring spun cotton), a shatterproof collapsible wine glass, a finisher medal that doubles as a wine stopper, and a chip-timed race bib. A pour of wine is included for eligible participants; minors receive a discounted registration that does not include a wine pour or wine glass. Age group competition is organized in ten-year categories and custom awards are provided to top finishers in each category. Strollers are permitted but not recommended due to uneven ground. The event lists Nik’s Wish as its charity partner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
