Event information
The Gettysburg Festival of Races is a weekend running event on April 25-26, 2026 near the Gettysburg battlefield. The start and finish area is at the Eisenhower Conference Center, 3632 Emmitsburg Road, Gettysburg, PA. Saturday features a health and fitness expo and packet pickup with local vendors and a pasta dinner the same day. Sunday hosts the races and post-race awards ceremonies. Hotel room blocks are reserved at the Aspire Gettysburg and the Eisenhower Hotel through April 10, 2026.
Course and race details
The event combines three races that use scenic wooded back roads in southern Adams County and cross the Mason-Dixon Line into Maryland before returning to Pennsylvania. The course is partly open to light traffic; police, park rangers, and certified flaggers will direct traffic. Disposable bib chip timing will be used. The course will remain open for six hours for the marathon and half marathon. Spectators are not allowed on the course except volunteers working at aid stations.

- Marathon - Gettysburg North-South Marathon, Boston-certified, two-loop course
- Half Marathon - Gettysburg Blue-Gray Half Marathon, single loop with Maryland turnaround
- 5K - 2L Race Services 5K, rolling-hill back roads
All registrants receive a finisher shirt, a goodie bag, a commemorative pint glass, free digital finisher photos, and a digital finisher certificate. Finishers medals are awarded for the marathon and half marathon only. Awards are given to top three overall male and female finishers and to age-group winners; team awards are also offered.
