The Gettysburg Festival of Races is a two-day event held at the Eisenhower Conference Center area, located at 3632 Emmitsburg Road, Gettysburg, PA. The weekend combines three separate races that use rural back roads in southern Adams County. The courses travel through wooded roads, past fields and farms, and cross the Mason-Dixon Line into Maryland and back. The event no longer travels through the Gettysburg National Military Park due to a park policy change.

Race details, limits, and amenities
The North-South Marathon is Boston-qualifying and shares the first 13.1 miles with the half marathon. Participant caps are stated: Marathon 500, Half Marathon 1500, 5K 500. The event provides disposable chip timing, fluid stations approximately every 1.5-2 miles, finisher shirts, a goodie bag, a commemorative pint glass, free digital finisher photos, and a digital finisher certificate. Finisher medals are awarded for the marathon and half marathon only. Spectators are not allowed on the rural course except volunteers at aid stations. The event supports fundraising for Warrior Canine Connection; fundraising minimums can earn free entries (marathon $500, half $250, 5K $100) and the offer is limited to the first 20 entrants.
