Gettysburg Festival of Races
The Gettysburg Festival of Races takes place in Gettysburg, PA on April 24 to 25, 2027. The event includes multiple road and trail distances and a health and fitness expo with packet pick-up at the Aspire Hotel Ballroom.
Race distances include:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half marathon
- North-South Marathon
The course is described as a historic trail. Participants receive a finisher shirt, a goodie bag, and a commemorative pint glass. Chip timing is provided by 2L Race Services. Fluid stations with water and an electrolyte beverage are available approximately every 1.5 to 2 miles. Marathon and half marathon finishers receive a finishers medal. Free digital finisher photos and a digital finisher certificate are provided. Post-race food and beverages are supplied, and a beer garden is available for participants aged 21 and over.
Registration is open online and race day registration may be available if space remains. Course maps and an interactive course map with zoom, elevation hover, and a course video are provided on the registration site. Packet pick-up and the expo are held at the Aspire Hotel Ballroom. Participants may change their chosen distance by notifying the organizers before race day or at packet pick-up; on race day notify the head timer at the finish line before starting a new distance.
Age group categories are listed separately for the marathon, half marathon, and 5K. Awards are given to top finishers in age groups and to top teams in male, female, and coed divisions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
