Event Overview
The Haunted 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is a themed running event held at Mount Hope Park in Grand Ledge, Michigan. This event is part of the US Road Running series and is scheduled for October 3, 2026. All participants are required to register online in advance, as no on-site registration is available on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted at the race location, starting 30 minutes before the first event begins and concluding 10 minutes prior to the start.
Course Information
The event offers three distinct distances conducted on out-and-back courses. The terrain and layout vary by distance:
- 5K: This distance uses a 0.78-mile out-and-back loop (totaling 1.56 miles per lap) which participants complete two times.
- 10K: Runners on this course complete the 1.56-mile out-and-back loop four times.
- Half Marathon: This race uses a separate 1.09-mile out-and-back course (2.18 miles per lap), which participants must complete six times to finish.
A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all participants.
Participant Benefits
All finishers across every distance receive a finisher medal. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes, and there is a designated recognition for the best costume.
