Event overview
Medal Madness at 1601 E Cavanaugh Rd, Lansing, MI is a set of road races offering three distances on out-and-back courses. Registration is required through RunSignup and there is no on-site registration.
The event includes these distances:
- 5K (registration fee $30)
- 10K (registration fee $45)
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles (registration fee $65)
Course format and timing
The 5K and 10K use the same out-and-back course; the 5K completes the out-and-back once and the 10K twice. The half marathon is also on an out-and-back course and completes the out-and-back four times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
Logistics and parking
Packet pickup runs from 30 minutes before the race until 10 minutes before the race starts. Park entry requires a vehicle fee: $3 per vehicle for Ingham County residents and $5 to $7 per vehicle for non-residents, depending on park system updates. The fee is charged per vehicle, not per person. Cashless pay stations may be in use, so a card is recommended.
