Event Overview
The US Road Running event in Lansing takes place at Hawk Island Park. This recurring race series offers participants a choice of three different distances on out-and-back courses. The event features a pirate theme, and participants are encouraged to wear costumes, with a "Best Costume" recognition available.
Distance Options
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K: One lap of a 3.11-mile out-and-back course.
- 10K: Two laps of the 5K out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: Four laps of a 2.275-mile out-and-back course.
Participant Information
All participants must register through the official online platform as there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup is conducted on the morning of the event, beginning 30 minutes before the start and concluding 10 minutes prior to departure.
The event has a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. Every runner who completes their selected distance receives a finisher medal.
