Race Overview
The US Road Running Lansing event is a scheduled series of races including 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon distances. The event takes place in Grand Ledge, Michigan, starting at 7419 E Mt Hope Hwy. Registration is managed through RunSignup and must be completed online, as there is no option for on-site registration. Participants can pick up their race packets starting 30 minutes before the event begins.
Course Details
The event utilizes specific out-and-back routes for the different distances. Both the 5K and 10K participants use a 0.78-mile course, resulting in a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop. The 5K runners complete this loop two times, while the 10K runners complete it four times.
The Half Marathon (13.1 miles) features a different out-and-back course measuring 1.09 miles, making for a 2.18-mile loop. Participants in this distance complete the loop six times. A total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is enforced for all participants.
Distances and Awards
- 5K - A 3.1-mile race involving two loops of the designated course.
- 10K - A 6.2-mile race involving four loops of the designated course.
- Half Marathon - A 13.1-mile race involving six loops of the longer course.
