Event Overview

The US Road Running event in Augusta, Georgia, features a series of road races held within a local park setting. Course Information

All races are conducted on an out-and-back course located within the park. The terrain is consistent for all runners, with the number of loops determined by the selected distance:

  • 5K: Participants complete the out-and-back course one time.
  • 10K: Participants complete the out-and-back course two times.
  • Half Marathon: Participants complete the out-and-back course four times.

There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances.

Logistics and Participation

Registration must be completed online prior to the event, as there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is organized at the race location shortly before the start. Parking is available for all attendees at the trailhead and near Lake Olmstead Trailhead / Ann Boardman Park areas.

While not mandatory, participants are encouraged to wear costumes during the race. All finishers receive a themed medal upon completion of their distance.
