Race Overview
The Medal Madness event takes place at Medal of Honor Park in Mobile, Alabama. This athletic gathering features multiple distances organized on out-and-back courses. Participants can choose between three distinct race lengths:
- 5K
- 10K
- 13.1 Miles (Half Marathon)
Course Details
The 5K and 10K races utilize a 0.78-mile course segment. This creates a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop. Runners participating in the 5K complete this loop twice, while 10K participants complete it four times.
The Half Marathon is held on a 1.09-mile course segment, resulting in a 2.18-mile out-and-back loop. Participants in the 13.1-mile distance complete this loop six times. There is a general course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for the event.
Participation and Awards
All participants must register in advance through the designated online platform, as there is no registration available at the event location. Packet pickup is conducted shortly before the start of the activities. All finishers receive a medal for completing their chosen distance.
