Race Information
US Road Running organizes this event in Corunna, Michigan, featuring multiple distances for participants. The race is located at 457 Emma Dr, with the starting line positioned near the intersection of Village Dr. and Gov. Parsons Dr. Packet pickup is scheduled at the event site shortly before the start. All participants are required to register online in advance, as there is no on-site registration.
Course Details
The event follows an out-and-back format on paved surfaces. Different distances utilize different loop configurations:
- 5K: Participants complete the 1.56 mile out-and-back course twice.
- 10K: Participants complete the 1.56 mile out-and-back course four times.
- Half Marathon: Participants complete a 2.16 mile out-and-back course six times.
There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all events. Parking is available in the lot located across from the playground.
Participation and Awards
The event features a pirate theme and encourages participants to take part in a costume contest. While wearing a costume is not required, a group photo is taken at the start of the race, and an award is given for the best costume. All finishers receive a themed medal.
