The Medal Madness event takes place on October 31, 2026, in Madisonville, Kentucky, at Mahr Park (642 Nebo Rd, Madisonville, KY 42431). The event includes the following distances:
- 5K : out-and-back repeated two times
- 10K : out-and-back repeated four times
- Half Marathon : out-and-back repeated six times
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. The organizer provides finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume contest, series points, and awards. A FAQ is available.
Course and logistics
The 5K/10K and half marathon use out-and-back course segments (listed as 1.56 miles and 2.18 miles respectively) that are run multiple times to reach each distance. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race starts. Parking at Mahr Park is limited; drivers are asked not to block utility boxes if parking on the grass. Participants are advised to follow posted directions at the park.
