Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and 13.1M : Madisonville, KY
Medal Madness is a road race event held at 642 Nebo Rd in Madisonville, Kentucky. The event offers three distances and uses measured out and back segments for each race. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Registration fees listed for the event are $30 for the 5K, $45 for the 10K, and $65 for the 13.1M.
Distances and course format:
- 5K: two repeats of a 1.56 mile out and back course.
- 10K: four repeats of the same 1.56 mile out and back course.
- 13.1M: six repeats of a 2.18 mile out and back course.
The roads pass by Mahr Park Arboretum toward the end of the road. Parking is limited; if parking on grass, avoid blocking utility boxes. The event enforces a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
