Event overview
The Medal Madness event is scheduled for August 29, 2026, at Mahr Park in Madisonville, Kentucky. The event includes three race distances and requires prior online registration on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Limited parking is available at the park; participants who park on the grass are asked not to block utility boxes. A Google map pin is provided for the park location.
Courses and race details
The event uses out-and-back courses with short loop segments for each distance:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
The 5K and 10K use a 0.78 mile segment that forms a 1.56 mile out-and-back; the 5K repeats that out-and-back twice and the 10K repeats it four times. The half marathon uses a 1.09 mile segment that forms a 2.18 mile out-and-back and is repeated six times. The course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
