US Road Running - Madisonville
The US Road Running event in Madisonville, Kentucky, takes place at Mahr Park. This running event offers three distinct distances for participants to choose from. The venue is located at the end of the road past the Mahr Park Arboretum.
All race distances utilize out-and-back courses with multiple loops required to complete the total distance. The layouts are as follows:
- 5K: Participants complete a 1.56 mile out-and-back loop twice.
- 10K: Participants complete a 1.56 mile out-and-back loop four times.
- Half Marathon: Participants complete a 2.18 mile out-and-back loop six times.
There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants. Runners must register online prior to the event as there is no on-site registration. Packet pickup is available at the race location shortly before the start.
Parking at the site is limited. Participants are advised that if parking in the grass is necessary, they must avoid blocking utility boxes. All finishers receive a themed medal upon completion of their race. Participants are also encouraged to wear costumes, and a group photo is taken at the start of the event.
