US Road Running Spokane Event
This US Road Running series event in Spokane, Washington, offers multiple distance options on the Ben-Burr trail. The race features a repetitive out-and-back course design centered around the entrance to the trail. Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The 5K and 10K participants utilize an out-and-back loop measuring 1.56 miles. Runners completing the 5K finish two laps of this course, while those in the 10K complete four laps. The Half Marathon follows a separate out-and-back loop measuring 2.18 miles, requiring runners to complete the circuit six times. There is a general course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants.
Event logistics are coordinated at the entrance of the trail, with parking available at the nearby Disc Golf Course. Packet pickup is conducted on the morning of the event. Registration is handled online through RunSignup as there is no option for on-site registration. All participants who complete their distance receive a finisher medal, and the event includes a costume competition for those who choose to participate.
