Wild Moose Chase
The Wild Moose Chase is a trail running event held at Riverside State Park in Nine Mile Falls, Washington. The course features paths along the river and through the park, highlighting the local landscape and autumn colors near Spokane.
The event offers several individual race distances to accommodate different preferences:
- 25K
- 10K
- 5K (Open to ages 12 and under)
- Kids Fun Run (Open to ages 1 to 12)
- Virtual Run (An off-site participation option)
The race serves as a fundraiser for the Eastern Washington University Department of Physical Therapy. Proceeds from the event provide opportunities for student physical therapists to attend the APTA Combined Sections Meeting, which is a significant professional conference in the United States.
Participants can collect their race packets on the Saturday before the event at Fleet Feet Spokane North or on the morning of the race at the Seven Mile Airstrip.
