The Medal Madness event takes place on June 13, 2026, at James Martin Trail Park, 829 Old S 4th St, Gadsden, AL 35901, US. Distances offered include:

Course and logistics
Courses use a pea gravel trail and are laid out as out-and-back loops. The 5K/10K course lists a 0.78M segment with a 1.56M out-and-back; the 5K repeats the out-and-back two times and the 10K four times. The half marathon course lists a 1.09M segment with a 3.18M out-and-back; the half marathon repeats that out-and-back six times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.

Event directions warn that GPS may direct users to a small building on Old S. 4 Street and advise turning right in the parking lot; the venue is just behind the Gadsden Mall.
