Medal Madness 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at Gadsden, AL
Medal Madness comprises three distances held at James Martin Trail Park, 829 Old S 4th St, Gadsden, AL 35901. The course runs on a pea gravel trail located just behind the Gadsden Mall. Entrants are advised that a GPS may direct to a small building on Old S 4th Street; if so, proceed south on Old S 4th Street and turn right into the parking lot.
Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the start. All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on site registration. The event is organized by US Road Running.

The 5K and 10K use an out and back segment of 0.78 miles, making a 1.56 mile round trip; the 5K repeats this out and back twice and the 10K repeats it four times. The half marathon uses a 1.09 mile segment, making a 3.18 mile round trip, and repeats that out and back six times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies.
