Event Overview
US Road Running organizes a holiday-themed race at Holston River Park in Knoxville, Tennessee. This event includes several distances and takes place on a paved course starting near Shelter #1. The race is part of a series and participants can earn points throughout the year.
Registered participants must collect their packets between 30 and 10 minutes before the start of the race. It is important to note that registration is completed exclusively through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the event.
Available Distances
Participants can choose from three different distances, all utilizing an out-and-back format:
- 5K: This race requires runners to complete the out-and-back course two times.
- 10K: Participants complete the same out-and-back course four times.
- Half Marathon: This 13.1 mile race follows a longer out-and-back loop six times.
Course Information
The courses are designed as out-and-back routes. The loop used for the 5K and 10K is approximately 1.56 miles for one complete cycle, while the Half Marathon loop is 2.18 miles per cycle. All participants are subject to a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
