US Road Running - Knoxville
The US Road Running event in Knoxville, Tennessee, features a multi-loop course held at Adair Park. The start line is located near the Knoxville Parks & Recreation building. This event includes two main distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
The race utilizes a specific 0.78-mile course layout designed as an out-and-back measuring 1.56 miles per lap. Participants in the 5K category complete this out-and-back loop twice. Those participating in the 10K cover the same course four times. The event has a strict course time limit of 2 hours.
Registration is handled exclusively through RunSignup, and there is no option for on-site registration. Packet pickup is scheduled to begin 30 minutes before the race starts and concludes 10 minutes prior to the departure. All participants who finish their respective distance receive a finisher medal.
The event also encourages a festive atmosphere through a best costume competition. While costumes are not a requirement, a group photo is taken at the start of the race, and a prize is awarded for the most creative attire.
