US Road Running Race at Holston River Park
The US Road Running event in Knoxville, Tennessee, features a series of timed races held at Holston River Park. Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
The competition is held on an out-and-back asphalt course. For the 5K distance, runners complete the designated loop twice. The 10K participants complete the course four times, while those in the Half Marathon complete the loop six times. The starting line is located near Shelter #1 within the park.
All participants are required to register through the designated online portal before arriving, as there is no registration available at the event site. Packet pickup occurs shortly before the race begins. There is a general course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances.
The event includes an opportunity for participants to take part in a costume contest, though this is optional. All finishers receive a themed medal upon completing their respective distances.
