Medal Madness at Knoxville
The US Road Running Knoxville event takes place at Holston River Park. This series includes three different distances on a paved out-and-back course. The starting line is situated near Shelter #1 within the park.
Participants can choose between several competitive distances:
- 5K: This race requires runners to complete the out-and-back course two times.
- 10K: This race requires runners to complete the out-and-back course four times.
- Half Marathon: This race requires runners to complete the out-and-back course six times.
There is a cumulative time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all events. Following the completion of the race, all participants receive a finisher medal. The event also features a best costume competition, and participants can earn points toward the broader US Road Running series.
