Race Overview
The US Road Running event in Knoxville, Tennessee, takes place at Holston River Park. This event is part of a recurring race series and offers three distinct distances for participants on a paved route. The starting area is located near Shelter #1. All participants must complete their registration through the RunSignup platform, as no registrations are accepted on-site.
Distances and Course Layout
The event features three race categories, each utilizing an out-and-back course format:
- 5K: Runners complete a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop two times.
- 10K: Runners complete the 1.56-mile out-and-back loop four times.
- Half Marathon: Participants complete a 2.18-mile out-and-back loop six times.
The event has a total time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. Packet pickup is scheduled at the venue beginning 30 minutes before the race and concludes 10 minutes prior to the start.
Additional Features
All finishers receive a themed medal upon completing their respective distances. While not required, participants are encouraged to wear costumes, and a group photo is taken at the beginning of the event.
