Pathways 5K for Tennessee Children's Home
The Pathways 5K is presented in two formats: an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K, both held in support of Tennessee Children's Home. The event raises funds to assist children who have been neglected, abused, and/or at-risk in East Tennessee. Registration opens August 24, 2025 and closes May 29, 2026. The registration fee for the in-person 5K is $30 and for the virtual 5K is $35.
The in-person course is a certified 5K that uses a section of the Ten Mile Creek Greenway. The route runs from West End Church of Christ to the loop at Walker Springs Park and returns to West End Church of Christ. Locations named for event operations include West End Church of Christ at 8301 E. Walker Springs Lane, Knoxville, TN, and Walker Springs Park.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Gold's Gym, 8445 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, and packet pickup is also provided on race day at West End Church of Christ.
Participant recognition includes finisher medals and T-shirts. Virtual participants are noted to receive a finisher medal and race T-shirt mailed after the race. Age-group awards are given in five-year increments up to age 70, with overall prizes and masters awards for competitors over age 40. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
