US Road Running - Knoxville
The Eagle 5K and 10K events take place in Knoxville, Tennessee, at Adair Park. The course is situated next to the Knoxville Parks and Recreation building. This event is part of the US Road Running race series and is open to all runners who register through the online platform, as there is no registration available on the day of the race.
The competition features a specific out-and-back loop measuring 0.78 miles for each segment, resulting in a 1.56-mile round trip. Participants in the different distances complete a set number of laps on this paved course:
- 5K
- 10K
For the 5K distance, runners complete the out-and-back loop twice. Participants in the 10K distance complete the out-and-back loop four times. There is a total course time limit of 2 hours for all participants.
All finishers will receive a medal for their completion of the race. Participants are encouraged to take part in the best costume competition, and points are awarded toward the US Road Running series standings.
