Event details
The New Year race is scheduled for January 3, 2026, at Holston River Park in Knoxville, TN 37914. The event offers the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration.
Course and logistics
The starting line is located near Shelter #1. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race start. The overall course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Course formats are out-and-back loops with the following structure: the 5K and 10K use a 1.56-mile out-and-back segment; the 5K completes that segment two times and the 10K completes it four times. The Half Marathon uses a 2.18-mile out-and-back segment and completes that segment six times.
