The 5th annual BK5K in Lacey, Washington is scheduled for September 12, 2026 at the Regional Athletic Complex, 8345 Steilacoom Rd SE, Lacey, WA 98503. The event features a community 5K run/walk and a separate Kids Fun Run for children 12 and younger.

The event’s mission is to support area youth. All proceeds are directed to various 501.c.3 youth organizations and programs that demonstrate financial need. Funding grants are evaluated and dispersed by the local BK5K Youth Fund Award Committee.

Registration includes an early period that ends on September 1 and an online registration period that ends on September 11; race day registration is available on site. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed after the early registration period closes.

Entry fees vary by age and registration timing. During online registration the Kids Fun Run is free for children 12 and younger, with a fee for race day registration. Adult and youth fees differ between early, after-early, and race day registration periods.

Prizes are awarded to top finishers. Cash awards for the top three female and male finishers are $200 for first, $100 for second, and $50 for third. Trophies are given to the top three overall finishers and medals to the top three in each age group for men and women.
