Event Overview
The Medal Madness running event takes place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, Florida. The event features three race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
Registration is only available online via RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.
Location and Logistics
The address for the event is 37 Dirksen Drive, DeBary, FL 32713. Participants should enter the park from Dirksen Drive and park in the West Parking loop. If that area is full, signs direct to East Parking. Check-in, bib pickup, and the start and finish are located at the O.K. Corral shelter. Restrooms are situated on the opposite side of West Parking from the shelter, near the playground.
Course Information
All courses are on concrete paths. The 5K and 10K share a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop. The 5K completes this loop once, and the 10K completes it twice. The half marathon uses a separate 1.64-mile out-and-back loop, which participants complete four times. A time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes is in effect for the event.
Event Features
Finisher medals are provided. A gear shop offers shirts and merchandise. The event includes a best costume competition and awards. Participants can earn series points as part of the US Road Running series. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
