Viking 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at DeBary, FL (08)
This event takes place at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, FL and offers three road race distances. Races run on a concrete course that uses out-and-back loops tailored to each distance.
Distances:
- 5K : out-and-back course using a 3.11M route, completed one time.
- 10K : same out-and-back completed two times.
- Half Marathon : out-and-back based on a 3.28M route, completed four times.
Participants should enter Gemini Springs Park from Dirksen Drive and turn right at the first stop sign to use the West Parking loop. Check-in, bib pick-up, and the start and finish are located at the O.K. Corral shelter. If West Parking is full, follow park signs for East Parking. Restrooms are located beyond the playground on the opposite side of West Parking from the O.K. Corral.
Registration is handled online through RunSignup and there is no on-site registration. The course has a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. The event also lists finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, a best costume category, series points, and awards as part of the race features.
