Event details
The Viking 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place on February 21, 2026, at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, Florida. The event offers the following distances:
- 5K - out-and-back course, one repetition
- 10K - out-and-back course, two repetitions
- Half Marathon - out-and-back course, four repetitions
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. A packet pickup period is held beginning 30 minutes before the race and ending 10 minutes before the race starts. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. Finisher medals, a shirt and gear shop, costume recognition, series points, and awards are part of the event program.
Course and logistics
The course surface is concrete. Entrances and parking: enter the park from Dirksen Drive, turn right at the first stop sign and use the West Parking loop; follow park signs to East Parking if West is full. US Road Running check-in and bib pick-up and the start/finish are located at the O.K. Corral shelter. Restrooms are located beyond the playground, on the opposite side of West Parking from the O.K.
