Event details
The Medal Madness event takes place on January 17, 2026, at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, Florida. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. Finisher medals are provided. The event includes awards, series points, a Best Costume category, and a shirt and gear shop. The overall course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Course and logistics
The park entrance is from Dirksen Drive. Participants are asked to park in the West Parking loop; follow park signs to East Parking if West Parking is full. Check-in, bib pick-up, and the start/finish are at the O.K. Corral shelter. Restrooms are located beyond the playground on the side of West Parking opposite the O.K. Corral.
The course surface is concrete. The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course described as 3.11 miles per out-and-back; the 5K completes that out-and-back once and the 10K completes it twice. The Half Marathon uses an out-and-back described as 3.28 miles per out-and-back and completes that out-and-back four times. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
