Event
The New Year race takes place on January 1, 2026, at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, Florida. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon (13.1M)
All runners must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration.
Course and logistics
The courses are concrete and use out-and-back formats. The 5K/10K course is an out-and-back that the 5K completes once and the 10K completes twice. The Half Marathon course is an out-and-back repeated four times. The event has a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Enter the park from Dirksen Drive and park in the West Parking loop; follow park signs for East Parking if West Parking is full. US Road Running check-in, bib pick-up, and the start/finish are located at the O.K. Corral shelter. Restrooms are located beyond the playground on the opposite side of West Parking from the O.K. Corral. The organizer provides finisher medals and a shirt and gear shop. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
