Event Overview
US Road Running organizes a racing event in Largo, Florida, featuring three distinct distances on an out and back course. The race is held at the location of 1800 Keene Rd. This event is part of the US Road Running Race Series, allowing participants to earn points toward the series rankings.
Race Formats
Participants can choose from three available distances:
- 5K: Completed by running the out and back course one time.
- 10K: Completed by running the out and back course two times.
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles): Completed by running the course four times.
The 5K and 10K utilize a 1.56-mile out and back loop, while the Half Marathon follows a 1.64-mile out and back loop. There is a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all participants.
Logistics and Participation
Registration must be completed online in advance through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration. Runners can pick up their race packets starting 30 minutes before the event begins. To assist with navigation, a staff member is positioned at the turnaround point to guide runners.
Finishers receive a themed medal upon completing their chosen distance. While not a requirement, participants are encouraged to wear costumes during the run.
