Dunedin Dog n' Suds Summer 5K
The Dunedin Dog n' Suds Summer 5K is a timed 3.1 mile run or walk on a fully paved course at HOB Brewing Company, 941 Huntley Avenue, Dunedin, FL. The event is dog and stroller friendly and is presented as a family environment in a two-story beer park venue located along the Pinellas Trail.
Participants receive a free craft beer, a finisher's medal, and a RUN727 promotional t-shirt. Top finisher awards are available for overall places and additional frames may be presented for exceptional performances by younger runners and seniors. The event uses electronic timing and maintains results offsite for later posting. A post race party and shaded check-in and gathering areas are provided at the venue. A bag check zone is available.
Logistics noted by the organizer include free parking at the Artisan parking garage at 356 Monroe Street with pedestrian access to the venue via the Pinellas Trail. Registrants are emailed bib assignments and a waiver the day before the race; paper waivers are available on site. Runners and walkers using a dog or stroller are asked to start toward the back of the pack so passing remains safe for animals and small children. Participants may bring personal hydration and snacks.
