The US Road Running event in Largo, Florida, offers multiple distances for participants as part of a recurring race series. Held at Eagle Lake Park along Keene Road, the event features a set course that runners traverse multiple times depending on their chosen distance. Distances and Course Layout
The event consists of three primary race lengths. All courses follow an out-and-back format, and a US Road Running staff member is stationed at the turnaround point to provide direction to participants.
- 5K: A single loop of the designated 3.1-mile out-and-back course.
- 10K: Two laps of the out-and-back course layout.
- Half Marathon: Four laps of a 1.64-mile out-and-back circuit.
Participant Information
The event has a total time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. Packet pickup is organized at the race location shortly before the start. Every finisher receives a themed medal upon completion of their race. While not mandatory, participants are encouraged to wear costumes, and a best costume award is recognized during the event. This race also contributes points toward the US Road Running Race Series standings. Parking is available at a primary lot near the start line, with a secondary overflow lot provided for participants.
