Event Overview
The Medal Madness 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon takes place at Eagle Lake Park in Largo, Florida. The event offers three race distances.
Race Details
The courses are out-and-back routes, meaning runners will cover the same ground in both directions.
- 5K: Runners complete the out-and-back course one time.
- 10K: Runners complete the same out-and-back course two times.
- Half Marathon: Runners complete a separate out-and-back course four times.
There is an overall course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes for all distances. All finishers will receive a themed medal.
Additional Information
Costumes are not required but are encouraged. A group photo is taken at the start of each race, and a best costume award is presented. This race earns points towards the US Road Running Race Series. Registration must be completed online via RunSignup; no on-site registration is available. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race start.
