Medal Madness at James Wilson Park
Medal Madness takes place in Temple, Texas on December 5, 2026. The event is based at James Wilson Park next to the Wilson Park Recreation Center. The program includes multiple road race distances and is organized by US Road Running.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon
- Marathon
Course information is provided as out and back segments. The 5K and 10K use a segment listed as 1.56 miles; the full out and back for that segment is shown as 3.11 miles. The 5K completes the out and back one time and the 10K completes it two times. The half marathon and marathon use a segment listed as 1.64 miles; the full out and back for that segment is shown as 3.28 miles. The half marathon repeats that out and back four times and the marathon repeats it eight times.
All runners must register on RunSignup and there is no on-site registration listed. The event notes a six hour course time limit.
