Event overview
The Medal Madness races take place on December 5, 2026, at James Wilson Park in Temple, Texas (2205 Curtis B Elliot Dr). Course and logistics
The 5K and 10K use an out-and-back course measured at about 3.11 miles for one out-and-back. The 5K completes the out-and-back once; the 10K completes it twice. The half marathon and marathon use an out-and-back course measured at about 3.28 miles per out-and-back. The half marathon completes that loop four times; the marathon completes it eight times.
